Any photographer would agree that being chosen by another wedding photographer to capture their special day is incredibly rewarding, and perhaps a little nerve-wracking.

With over 10 years of experience in the wedding photography & videography industry, Jodie and Tracey from Powder and Pearls chose me—yes, little old me—to photograph their special day at St Tewdrics House in Chepstow.

"As wedding photographers ourselves, we actually met Tom while we were filming a wedding and he was the photographer.

Apart from having the same camera gear and offering a similar style of photography to us, we loved how friendly and easy going he was to the couple and the guests.

It was more like having a friend at a wedding than a stranger which was important to us.

He worked so hard on our day and we are so grateful for the gorgeous images he captured, capturing the natural moments and setting up some epic shots."

When planning their special day, Jodie & Tracey had three non-negotiables: family, friendship, and fun. These guiding principles shaped their entire celebration.

With a relatively intimate guest list of just over 50, the wedding was held at a venue offering exclusive use and accommodation. This created a warm and personal atmosphere, where guests and loved ones celebrated into the early hours.

The intimate setting allowed me to capture countless happy moments on camera, ensuring that the joy and love of the day were preserved forever.
